My real name is Yaroslav Veselovskiy. I was born in 1994 and I am from Russia. I presently live in Montreal, Canada. I adore chemistry, astrophysics and cryogenics, as much as I adore dreaming and having Psychedelic trips - there is much to learn from them.
One thing you should know about me is that I am the exact opposite of my surroundings. As different as matter and dark matter. I am academically talented, but if you meet me somewhere in the streets of Montreal - I would look just like any teenager. It is when you have a chance to know me that you realize I am different. I came to Canada when I was 10 and I had to learn French, The learning was not a problem, but studying several hours and the pressure from my parents was. Another important fact about me - my religion. Our universe is not alone are nor are we. I mean, it would be stupid to believe that the life occurred exceptionally on Earth and that it is a unique planet, as there are several billion stars with planets in several billion galaxies around the universe. Would you really think that there is no chance of life on other planets ? I don't think so. We all have our part to do in this universe. No one is here for nothing.
I started to mix loops in the end of 2007... I couldn't make a difference between techno and house, so I was kinda mixing both. These days, I didn't even know what a VST was - I was drifting around the web in search for loops to mix. My loopmixes did turn out good for a first timer. I had a friend that also wanted to DJ and mix who abandoned (he sucked). One day, a friend of mine introduced me to PsyTrance. he showed me a track of Infected Mushroom - I fell in love with DarkPsy ever since (regular psytrance sucks). And I continued getting better and better. It is when I created Mind Over Matter that a major improvement took place. Now, I determined my style - weird beat, wicked bass and lots of sound effects with little breaks. And if I add some synth, its an Ambient Trance-inspired melody (really cheezy and extremely pleasant for the ear). It may surprise you, but I didn't choose to create PsyTrance, although I extremely enjoy listening to it - I create BreakBeat, Downtempo and Minimal...
